Amerigon is a leader in developing products based on advanced thermoelectric (TE) technologies for a wide range of global markets and applications. Thermoelectric technology relates to the direct conversion of electrical current to thermal energy (Peltier effect) or heat differentials to electric current (Seebeck effect).
Our initial product is the Climate Control Seat™ (CCS™) system, which is marketed to the global automotive industry. The CCS cooled/heated seat, the only system of its type on the market today, provides vehicle seat occupants with all-season heating and cooling comfort. Amerigon is the largest supplier of TE systems for cars, with over 3 million thermoelectric-based seat systems sold.
